As a brand born out of grassroots football, this feature means a great deal to us. Athletherm was created with a simple idea in mind: to help young players stay warm, dry and comfortable when taking part in outdoor sport, whatever the weather.

Grassroots sport is about so much more than what happens on the pitch. It’s about teamwork, friendship, confidence, development and the countless hours given by volunteer coaches, parents and club officials who help young people enjoy sport.

Our innovative, fleece-lined waterproof poncho has been designed specifically with active children in mind, providing a practical way for young athletes to stay warm and protected from the elements between matches, during substitutions and while watching from the sidelines.
Designed for Young Athletes
Unlike an ordinary blanket or oversized coat, the Athletherm poncho combines a waterproof outer layer with a warm fleece lining, a fixed hood and practical popper fastenings.
The design helps children keep warm without getting in the way of their sporting activities. The large front pocket also provides a handy place to keep gloves and other essentials close at hand.
Although football was the inspiration behind the product, Athletherm is suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities, including rugby, hockey, athletics and weekend adventures.
